Towards the Integration of Cuneiform in the OntoLex-Lemon Framework Timo Homburg  & Thierry Declerck  Download (2.44 MB) Abstract. This publication shows our approach to adding representations of graphemes of the cuneiform script into the Ontolex-Lemon model. We define a new vocabulary that adds representations of graphemes and their variants, including etymology and their representations in character description languages. We describe how the ontology model can be generalized to describe graphemes of languages that do not rely on a written script for communication. We then interlink these representations to the Ontolex-Lemon model on one end and, for some instances, to the CIDOC-CRMtex model on the other hand and provide application examples in different scripts.
